Before 1956 Mr. Om Prakash Jindal from Punjab established a trading business specializing in spare parts for sewing machines, including components such as bushings, shafts, and machine oil.
- 1956: Registered a proprietorship named M/s Shyam Traders, honoring his son.
- 1962: Shyam Traders became a pioneer in trading genuine spare parts for USHA, later adding BAJAJ to its offerings.
- 1967: After graduating from Hansraj College, Mr. Shyam Sunder Jindal joined the company, driven by a vision to expand its reach globally.
- 1971: Through hard work and dedication, Shyam Traders became a top choice in India for spare parts in fans, coolers, and sewing machines.
- 1985: With a focus on international growth, Mr. S.S. Jindal began exploring export opportunities, traveling to countries such as Hong Kong, Germany, Thailand, Europe, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
- 1987: Upon the unfortunate passing of Mr. Shyam Sunder Jindal, his son, Mr. P.B. Jindal, assumed leadership, continuing his father’s vision at a young age.
- 1992: Mr. P.B. Jindal became the first authorized distributor of Whirlpool spare parts across India, building on his father’s legacy.
- 2001-2006: Mr. P.B. Jindal received the Top Distributor award from Whirlpool of India for five consecutive years.
- 2010: Entering the manufacturing sector, Mr. P.B. Jindal launched a new venture to produce submersible pumps for aquariums, fountains, and coolers.
- 2013: Mr. Rishabh Jindal, son of Mr. P.B. Jindal, joined the business after completing his graduation in IT, bringing fresh insights and skills.
- 2013: Established a new company, M/s Manju Industries, to further diversify and expand operations.
- 2017: Expanded the product range to include LEDs, wires & cables, capacitors, geysers, RO systems, and water filters, catering to customer needs for spare parts and complete products. M/s Manju Industries was positioned as a separate manufacturing entity to enhance operational speed and efficiency.
- 2019: Under the leadership of Mr. Rishabh Jindal, the company initiated collaborations with export houses to deliver high-quality products meeting global standards.
- 2023: After five years of serving international clients indirectly, Mr. Rishabh Jindal launched direct export operations to reach global markets more effectively.
- 2024: Established AJEX GLOBAL LTD in the United Kingdom, with a vision to become a leading sourcing agent for Indian products in the UK.
Today, with over six decades of experience, Shyam Traders continues to uphold its motto of "Customer Satisfaction", while Manju Industries and AJEX GLOBAL LTD carry forward the legacy with a focus on quality, efficiency, and innovation.
